Local issues in the District will always be the primary concern of Congresswoman Adams. She takes her duties as the U.S. Representative of North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District very seriously. Whether she is securing federal funding for district schools or health care institutions, or fighting for a living wage and affordable taxes for her constituents, she will always put the needs of the 12th District first, and be its advocate in the House of Representatives.

Washington – Today, Reps. David E. Price (NC-04), G. K. Butterfield (NC-01), and Alma Adams (NC-12), the Democratic members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation, sent the attached letter to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in strong support of a State Plan Amendment to expand Medicaid in the State of North Carolina.

Washington, D.C.— Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the below statement following the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) by the U.S. Senate. The NDAA included the Small and Disadvantaged Businesses Act of 2016, introduced by Congresswoman Adams. The NDAA will soon be signed into law by President Obama.
