Ed’s main priority in Congress is improving opportunity for the hardworking families in the 7th Congressional District. While the overall economy continues to improve, we need to continue to support the middle class by creating good-paying jobs, tackling escalating student loans, making it easier for people to purchase a home if they choose, keeping health care affordable and ensuring retirement security. This also means supporting family-friendly policies such as the Healthy Families Act allowing working Coloradans to earn up to seven days per year of paid sick leave, enhancing the tax credit for child care expenses, and fighting for a woman’s right to make personal health choices based on what is best for her and her family.
