  Library of Congress

  Experience the world’s largest collection of knowledge, culture, and creativity at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. The Library is open to all visitors. Come take a tour, visit our fascinating exhibitions, and enjoy activities for kids and families – all free!

• 

  National Parks

  Known as America’s front yard, iconic monuments and memorials stretch over 1,000 acres of green space in the middle of our Capitol city from the foot of the U.S. Capitol to the Potomac River. The parks are open to the public. You may request to join a free guided bus tour led by a National Park Ranger. The bus route includes visits to:

  - Washington Monument

  - Jefferson Memorial

  - Lincoln Memorial

  - World War II Memorial

  - Vietnam Veterans Memorial

  - Martin Luther King Memorial

  Capitol Building

  The United States Capitol is a monument, a working office building, and one of the most recognizable symbols of representative democracy in the world. Professional tour guides lead Congressional tours through the US Capitol, visiting: Statuary Hall, The Crypt, the magnificent Rotunda, the Old Supreme Court Room and the Old Senate Chamber.

  White House

  A self-guided tour through the White House East Wing only. The White House’s collection of fine and decorative arts includes historic objects associated with the White House and the Presidency and significant or representative works by a variety of American and European artists and craftsmen that are consistent with the historic character of the house.

  Tour requests must be submitted 30 days in advance and can be submitted as early as 60 days advance.

  The Pentagon

  Headquarters of the Department of Defense, the Pentagon is one of the world's largest office buildings. It is twice the size of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, and has three times the floor space of the Empire State Building in New York.

  Tour requests must be submitted 90 days advance.

• 

  Supreme Court

  Although the Supreme Court does not offer guided walking tours, visitors are encouraged to tour the building on their own and take advantage of a variety of educational programs including Courtroom Lectures, a visitors’ film, and court-related exhibitions.

• 

  JFK Center for the Performing Arts

  See the Hall of States and Hall of Nations, the Center's main theaters, and dozens of paintings, sculptures, and other artworks given to the Center by foreign countries.

• 

  U.S. State Department

  A guided tour of the Diplomatic Reception Rooms, its official functions, and premier collection of 18th century American furniture, paintings and decorative arts.

  Tour requests must be submitted 90 days advance.

  The Treasury Building

  A guided tour of the main Treasury Building, tour highlights include Salmon Chase and Andrew Johnson suites, the newly restored gilded West dome and lobby, and the Cash Room.

• 

  Bureau of Engraving and Printing

  Located in the heart of the Nation's Capital, the BEP's Washington, DC Tour and Visitor Center is a great place to learn all about U.S. paper currency. You can see millions of dollars being printed as you walk along the gallery overlooking the production floor!

  Tour requests must be submitted 2 weeks in advance and can be submitted as early as 6 months in advance.




-If you are requesting a White House tour a secured link will be emailed to you from the White House, allowing you to submit your security information directly with the White House. The secured link will be sent upon my office’s receipt of this web form with your completed tour request(s).
