Medicare Claims

My office works directly with the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services to resolve issues constituents may have when it comes to:

  • Answering inquiries regarding specific Medicare coverage
  • Receiving Medicare benefits or due back pay
  • Inquiring to CMS directly about specific determinations you may find confusing or inaccurate.
  • Forwarding claims of potential fraud within Medicare

Regardless of the constituent request, there are no guarantees that an outcome received as a result of a congressional inquiry will be a desired one.

My office does not have any decision making authority in the resolution of your case before CMS. Therefore, the outcome of your case is determined solely on the decisions made by the administrators within CMS.

If you are having trouble receiving your Medicare benefits, confused about what your plan covers, or just have an inquiry regarding Medicare, please feel free to contact my district office in Topeka (785)-234-LYNN (5966) and ask for, or email Melissa Underwood at melissa.underwood@mail.house.gov
