58th Presidential Inauguration
Thank you for your interest in requesting tickets for the 2017 Presidential Inauguration. Each Congressional office receives 177 standing room tickets for our entire district for the for the Swearing-In Ceremony and unfortunately, due to high demand for and limited supply of tickets, we have already reached capacity. We are no longer accepting ticket requests. You may be interested to learn, tickets are not necessary to view the inauguration ceremony; the tickets simply allow access to specific sections of the Capitol Grounds. There will be large sections of the National Mall (starting at Fourth St. NW) that will be accessible to the general public; jumbo viewing screens will be set up throughout the National Mall. Additionally, if you reside outside Nevada’s 2nd District, I encourage you to reach out to your own representative to request tickets. You may look up your representative at http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/.
As you know, the ceremony will be held on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol on Friday, January 20, 2017. For additional information, please visit http://www.inaugural.senate.gov, a public website with information regarding the history of Inauguration and details regarding the various ceremonies taking place. The site will be updated periodically with additional information that may be of interest, so be sure to check back frequently. Please note our office will not have tickets for the Inaugural Parade, any inaugural balls or other inaugural events.
We’re happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Please feel free to call my Washington, D.C. office at 202-225-6155 with any further questions.
