WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) spoke on the Senate floor to share personal stories from Missourians who have been hurt by the president’s health care law. WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) today released the following video celebrating the holiday season:

Full Text:

“Hi I’m Senator Roy Blunt.

As we get ready to celebrate the holidays with our family, with our friends, and people we love, I encourage you to take a moment and thank those who protect us and thank their families as well.

Our military heroes serve tirelessly and selflessly, often spending the holidays away from their loved ones.

Others in law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders are being challenged in greater ways every single day.

We owe these men and women, and their families, our greatest debt of gratitude for their dedication and their commitment to keeping our nation strong and safe.

It’s because of their bravery and enormous sacrifices that we’re able to enjoy the freedoms that make America great.

From my family to yours, Happy Holidays.”
