Elizabeth is working to provide cities and towns in Connecticut with the resources they need to fight the opioid crisis. This summer, she successfully passed reforms focusing on addiction prevention so that more families don't experience the terrible pain of losing a loved one to addiction. -
Honoring Our Gold Star Families
Elizabeth's bill to help Gold Star parents get good-paying jobs was signed into law. On the House floor, Elizabeth shared with her colleagues the experiences of three Gold Star Families from Connecticut's Fifth District: The Nolans, the Kights, and the Reichs.
