Flag Requests

As your Congressional Representative, I am happy to inform you how to order a patriotic U.S. flag, which you may purchase in multiple sizes and request to be flown over the U.S. Capitol. There is no limit on the number of flags you may order. All flags are sold with a shipping surcharge, and take approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery, depending on the availability of inventory. Your flag(s) will be delivered to the mailing address that you give below, within California's 14th Congressional district. (If you are not a constituent of the 14th District, please contact your own Member of Congress, whom you can find here.)

You may choose have the flag flown over the Capitol Building, or delivered to you immediately without being flown. All flags flown over the Capitol are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Flags may be flown for a particular person, event, or organization, and may be flown on a specific date. If you request multiple flags to be flown, they will all be flown on the same date and shipped at the same time. If you need flags flown on different dates, please submit separate order requests for each separate date to fly the flags.

If you would like the flag mailed to you by a certain date (such as an Eagle Scout Court of Honor, parade, anniversary, event or party), please write the date in the “Special instructions” field at the bottom of the flag order form. The request must be submitted at least five weeks ahead of your desired date, accounting for your request to be mailed to Capitol Hill, pass through Capitol postal security, be processed by the Flag Office, and finally reach your mailing address by USPS. Unfortunately, mailing dates within 5 weeks cannot be honored. (In the case of a funeral, please call my DC office at 202-225-3531.)
