College for Creative Studies
The College for Creative Studies (CCS) is a nonprofit, private college authorized by the Michigan Education Department to grant Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. CCS, located in midtown Detroit, strives to provide students with the tools needed for successful careers in the dynamic and growing creative industries. With world-class faculty and unsurpassed facilities, students learn to be visual communicators who actively use art and design toward the betterment of society. The College is a major supplier of talent to numerous industries, such as transportation, film and animation, advertising and communications, consumer electronics, athletic apparel, and many more. Its graduates are exhibiting artists and teachers, design problem solvers and innovators, as well as creative leaders in business.
Ecumenical Theological Seminary
Ecumenical Theological Seminary is a fully accredited ecumenical seminary committed to providing the best theological education in southeastern Michigan while remaining rooted in Detroit. We offer several degree programs in ministry as well as a certificate program theological studies and an urban ministry diploma. We are committed to embracing the diversity found in our city and suburbs and to transcend the boundaries typical in such a setting in order to overcome alienation and help build bridges between our city and its suburbs.
Sacred Heart Major Seminary
Sacred Heart Major Seminary prepares candidates for the Roman Catholic priesthood for the Archdiocese of Detroit and for dioceses nationally and internationally. We are a leading center of the New Evangelization forming priest, deacons and lay ministers who are prepared to bring the truth of the Gospel to an increasingly secularized world.
