Rep. Karen Bass Welcomes New George Lucas Museum

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Karen Bass (D – Calif.) applauded the announcement made that George Lucas’ 1 billion dollar museum will be built in Exposition Park. While a terrific win for the culture of the district, this project also promises jobs related to the construction and upkeep of the museum.

“George Lucas’ new museum will create thousands of jobs in construction and also many permanent jobs. I can’t think of a better place for this eclectic display of arts than downtown Los Angeles. ”
