Thirteen Years After 9/11, We Must Remain Vigilant

Congressman Chris Collins today released the following statement on the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

“The horrific actions that changed our world thirteen years ago still weigh heavily on our minds today,” said Congressman Collins. “We will never forget the nearly three thousand innocent individuals who lost their lives in attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania. But from the pain and suffering that day, arose displays of perseverance and determination which embody our great nation.”

“I want to commend the men and women across the globe who risk their lives on a daily basis to defeat terrorism, and ensure American citizens are free and safe. Now more than ever, we must remain vigilant in our efforts to combat terrorism both here and abroad.”
