Congressman Chris Collins Announces FAA Grant for Canandaigua Airport

Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) announced today that the Canandaigua Airport will receive a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The $63,000 grant will allow the airport to conduct an environmental study and assessment related to proposed development on the site (East Apron General Aviation Complex).
“Supporting local governments with the cost of maintaining, repairing and building critical infrastructure is an appropriate use of federal tax dollars,” said Collins. “Local taxpayers send a lot of their hard-earned money to Washington and it is only proper that we get a share of it back to assist with projects that are important to our local communities.”
The Congressman’s office remains available to assist any local government pursuing a federal grant.
Congressman Chris Collins Announces Additional FAA Grants for Canandaigua Airport

Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) announced today additional grant funding for the Canandaigua Airport. The airport will receive two grants from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) totaling more than $140,000. One grant for $82,350 and the other for $58,950 will provide funding for the design phase for two projects at the airport including the rehabilitation of Taxiways A, B and C and the rehabilitation of 7,800 square foot main apron.
Last week the Congressman announced an additional FAA grant totaling $63,000. That money will allow the Canandaigua Airport to study proposed development on the site.

Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) announced today that the Dansville Municipal Airport, located in the Town of North Dansville, will receive two grants from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) totaling more than $285,000. One grant for $184,590 will allow the airport to remove trees and other obstructions on and around the site to ensure clear navigation and enhance safety. The second grant, for $100,800, will provide funding for the design phase of several projects at the airport including the rehabilitation of Taxiways A and B and the replacement of the rotating beacon.
