Rep. Messer Sworn In to 115th Congress

WASHINGTON (Tuesday, Jan 3, 2017) — Rep. Luke Messer (IN-06) was officially sworn in to serve as a member of the 115th Congress, which convened for the first time today.

Messer said he is eager to begin work driving conservative policy solutions and getting Washington back on the side of the American people.

“I’m confident 2017 will be a year of action,” Messer said. “We have an opportunity, and an obligation, to take bold action and get results for the American people. This starts with delivering on the promises made to Americans during election season, including repealing Obamacare, rolling back years of crushing federal regulation and getting tough on national security.”

Messer was sworn in to office today by House Speaker Paul Ryan, and was joined by his wife and children.
