Washington, DC Congressional Internships

In my Washington, DC office, Congressional internships run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters. All internships in all offices are unpaid, but interns gain invaluable work experience. The hours can be flexible to accommodate students' course schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during District Work Periods.

Responsibilities will vary. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office.

San Fernando Valley Internships

In my California office, internships also run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters. Our district office internship program offers participants an excellent opportunity to serve their community. Interns have the opportunity to participate in community outreach and events. The hours can be flexible to accommodate students' course schedules, but generally run 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
