Congressman Andy Barr

Representing All the People of Kentucky's Sixth District

Tours and Tickets

Planning a trip to Washington, D.C.?  My office will be happy to help you arrange visits to popular Federal attractions during your trip.  If you are a resident of the 6th District, I would encourage you to stop by my office at 1432 Longworth House Office Building.  My staff and I would be happy to welcome you and provide any assistance we can offer.

My office is able to help coordinate tours of the U.S. Capitol building, Library of Congress, Kennedy Center, Supreme Court, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Tour hours and ticket availabilities vary throughout the year, so please reference the email message you receive from our tour coordinator after your submission.

There are many great attractions to visit while in our Nation’s Capital and I would encourage you to come visit!  Hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

Andy Barr
Member of Congress

White House Tours:

Due to increased security, the White House requires that tours be arranged through the office of your Member of Congress. Requests for tours should be submitted to my office four to six months prior to the requested date of the tour if possible. Tours will be scheduled by the White House approximately 2 weeks before the requested date. We will notify constituents on the status of their tour as soon as the White House notifies us. Tours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday and all tours are self-guided. Your chance of receiving a tour is greatly increased if several possible dates are provided and the request is made 6 months in advance.

Please note that our office can only submit a request to the White House for your tour. We cannot guarantee a tour. All decisions about tour dates and times are made by the White House. They retain the right to accept or deny your tour as well as make last minute cancellations or time changes.

All tickets are provided to my constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit my Washington, DC Tourism Information page.
