Committees and Caucuses

Congressman Evan Jenkins serves on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, which determines funding levels for federal departments and agencies.

On the committee, Evan serves on three subcommittees:

• The Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Subcommittee, which oversees spending within the Interior Department and the Environmental Protection Agency, among other agencies.
• The Legislative Branch Subcommittee, which oversees congressional spending for the House of Representatives, the Architect of the Capitol and the Library of Congress.
• The Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies Subcommittee, which oversees funding for the Transportation Department, the Housing and Urban Development Department, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Housing Administration, among other agencies.
