District Information

Located in the rolling hills of Upstate South Carolina, the Fourth Congressional District consists of parts of Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. An area of economic prowess along the I-85 corridor, the Fourth District holds the unique distinction of having the highest concentration of international business in the country. Some of the largest employers in the district include BMW, General Electric, Michelin, and many others both international and domestic. Wofford College, Furman University, and 15 other institutions of higher learning call the Upstate their home, along with Clemson University’s ICAR research campus. Beautiful landscapes, a vibrant commercial sector, and a passionate people make the Fourth District a national and international force.
