Reed Applauds Re-Election of Speaker Paul D. Ryan

Tom Reed issued the following statement after Paul D. Ryan was selected as Speaker of the House for the 115th Congress:

“Having served on the Ways and Means Committee under Speaker Ryan and seeing the results of his critically needed leadership over the last year, we are encouraged by his reelection. He continues to lead courageously and we look forward to working with him as we forge ahead to tackle our biggest challenges, including getting our economy on track, enacting comprehensive tax reform and ensuring access to quality, affordable healthcare close to home. He has worked diligently throughout his tenure in office and we look forward to partnering with him in that process.”
