House Democratic Caucus Diversity and Recruitment Initiative

Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities within the Democratic offices of the U.S. House of Representatives. The House Democratic Caucus Diversity and Recruitment Initiative is a resource to assist offices with identifying and hiring a more diverse and inclusive workforce. In addition, it helps those who want to work in Congress with understanding and navigating the job search process. Chairman Xavier Becerra and Vice Chairman Joe Crowley have launched this initiative to expand and diversify the pool of qualified applicants who seek employment in the House. Our concept of diversity and recruitment embraces differences in race and ethnicity, religion, disability and sexual orientation as well as recognizes the military service of our veterans.

Each Member office creates its own organizational structure and is responsible for its own job descriptions, candidate screening, interviewing and selection, as well as job requirements, compensation, and conditions of employment.

By completing our online form, your information and resume will become part of the House Democratic Caucus Diversity and Recruitment Initiative resume database. While this database is not public, you are authorizing the release of your information and resume to any and all Democratic House offices who may contact us seeking applicants.
