Congressional Art Competition

It is my pleasure to have my district participating in the 2016 Congressional Art Competition-An Artistic Discovery. The competition is open to high school students, grades 9-12, residing in or attending a school in Idaho’s First Congressional District. Deadline for submission at any of my District offices is April 13, 2016.

A group of judges will determine the top three choices and the Congressman will choose the final winner. All art work will be displayed on my Facebook Account where users will determine who will win the District’s Choice award.

The winner will receive free airfare from Southwest Airlines to fly with a guest to Washington, D.C. and attend an awards ceremony in June. Their artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.

The District’s Choice winner, second and third place winners will have their work displayed for a year in one of my three Congressional offices located in Meridian, Lewiston and Coeur d’Alene.
