Supporting Free Trade and Protecting Jobs

“One in five jobs in our state rely on free trade. Free and strong trade agreements open markets to Ohio farmers, manufacturers and small business owners who rely on exporting their goods and services to be successful here at home. More trade means more jobs, higher wages and better business. That is why we must have trade agreements that put America’s interests first and strictly enforce our trade laws to stop foreign competitors from cheating and undercutting our domestic producers. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over trade issues, my priority will continue to be to support trade agreements that help our workers and support our economy.” – Pat Tiberi
