Wagner Statement on Officer Snyder

Ballwin, Mo – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO-02) released the below statement following news of the loss of St. Louis County Police Officer Blake Snyder:

“I am deeply heartbroken over the loss of Officer Blake Snyder of the St. Louis County Police Department. He was a true hero, who selflessly put his own life on the line to protect our families. Officer Snyder accepted a calling to serve a cause greater than himself, putting on his uniform every day with pure devotion, optimism and a willingness to do everything in his power to keep our neighborhoods safe.  We can never repay the family of Officer Snyder for his sacrifice, but through prayer and faith, I know our community will come together to support his wife and 2 year old son during this tragic time. I ask that you join me in continuing to pray for Officer Snyder’s family and all law enforcement in the greater St. Louis area.”
