Congresswoman Ann Wagner

Representing the 2nd District of Missouri

Transportation

Our nation’s roads, bridges, railways, waterways, and runways serve as the backbone to our country and allow our communities to be interconnected and commerce to thrive.  As the Representative to a district which hosts a section of the Mississippi River that provides thousands of jobs and allows the transfer of billions of dollars of commodities, I am committed to preserving the economic and commercial impacts a viable transportation infrastructure can provide.

Additionally, Missouri hosts a considerable amount of highway miles and owns a significant railway presence.  I will ensure that the upkeep and improvements to these transportation causeways are provided for and give states the flexibility to effectively carry out these projects, to best ensure that commercial and commuter traffic can continue uninterrupted.
