WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer supported the appropriations bill funding several financial services agencies, as well as the judicial and executive branches of the federal government, when H.R. 5485, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Bill, passed the House of Representatives today.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Legislation authored by Congressman Kevin Cramer has been introduced to the House Ways and Means Committee by its Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam (R-IL). H.R. 5171, the LEGACY IRA, authorizes tax-free IRA rollovers on gifts which benefit charities and provide taxable retirement income for donors.
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Legislation that has been passed by the House of Representatives will benefit startup companies seeking investors, according to Congressman Kevin Cramer. H.R. 4498, the Helping Angels Lead Our Startups (HALOS Act), amends the Securities Act of 1933 to ensure that startup companies do not inadvertently violate Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations governing general solicitation of potential investors. The bill passed the House by a vote of 325-89 Wednesday.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer announced today the U.S. House of Representatives approved H.R. 2029, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2016. The bill provides $1.149 trillion to fund the federal government through September 30, 2016. This includes $548 billion in defense spending, $73.7 billion in the Overseas Contingency Operations Fund, and $518 billion in non-defense spending. It complies with the budget caps established by H.R.
