WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer released this statement following President Obama’s signing of legislation today funding water infrastructure projects critical to the nation’s economic competitiveness. The Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act, formerly known as the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA), addresses projects at America’s harbors, locks, dams, flood protection and other water infrastructure.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer issued this statement following today’s announcement by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers it is denying the permit for the Dakota Access Pipeline to complete the construction of the pipeline under Lake Oahe:
WASHINGTON – In a letter to President Barack Obama, Senator John Hoeven, Congressman Kevin Cramer and Governor Jack Dalrymple today called on the president to quit delaying and authorize the Army Corps of Engineers to approve the final federal easement for the Lake Oahe crossing of the Dakota Access Pipeline and to immediately provide the State of North Dakota with law enforcement resources to assist state and local enforcement to address violent protesters and keep the peace. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer praised the benefits to North Dakota producers and exporters in the projects funded by today’s passage of H.R. 5303, the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA). The Senate passed similar legislation today and both bills now advance to a conference committee.
