WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Congressman Kevin Cramer has been named to serve on three of the top subcommittees in the House Energy and Commerce Committee for the 115th Congress. The appointments were announced Monday by Congressman Greg Walden, chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – A bill that establishes standards to improve the quality of rural telephone calls was one of four bills Congressman Kevin Cramer co-sponsored that passed the House of Representative today. Cramer is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where these bills originated.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer said a bill passed by the House Energy and Commerce Committee today is another effort to address rural call completion and quality concerns in rural areas.
Congressman Kevin Cramer commended the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for listening to the concerns of small video operators in revised rules it published today for set-top boxes.
In May, Cramer led a bipartisan group with 60 other Members of Congress in objecting to the proposed regulations, which mandated cable and satellite television providers share their raw video programming with third-party set-top box competitors.
GRAND FORKS, N.D – Congressman Kevin Cramer said the development of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology in North Dakota has had a “breakout year” in potential and progress. He spoke at the 10th Annual UAS Summit and Expo in Grand Forks today, after presenting remarks at the UAS Field Day at the Hillsboro, N.D., airport Monday.
“After talking about the potential for so long, it is nice to be able to touch the progress here at the Grand Sky Park and the new Robin Hall at the University of North Dakota,” Cramer said.
