A critical function of my District Office is to help constituents navigate federal agencies. Although we cannot override decisions made by a federal agency, my office can make an inquiry on a constituent’s behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just help you cut through the red tape. For more information, please click here.

Each year the House of Representatives hosts a nationwide visual art competition to recognize talented young artists in each congressional district. My office is honored to participate and we welcome entries from all high school students of the 24th District. Among other prizes, the winner selected by my office will have his or her work displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a full year. To learn more, please click here.

SA Noms IconSERVICE ACADEMY NOMINATIONS

One of my greatest privileges as a Member of Congress is the opportunity to nominate exceptional young people from the 24th District for an appointment to one of our nation’s prestigious military service academies. If you or your child are interested in attending a service academy, more information about the nomination process and requirements can be found here.

FlagRequestsIconFLAG REQUESTS

Through the Capitol Flag Program, my office can submit a request on your behalf to have an American flag flown over the Capitol. Flags can be flown year-round and on the date of your choosing, and each comes with a certificate that can be customized with a personal message. While this service is not free, it can be a meaningful way to recognize a special person, occasion, or achievement. My flag request form is here.
