2017 Presidential Inauguration Tickets

Congressman Bridenstine’s office has started a wait list since we have received more requests for presidential inauguration tickets than the number of tickets our office will be allotted. We will begin notifying people during the week of Dec 11 if tickets will be available for them, but this process may take several days.

If you reside within Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District and have not yet submitted a ticket request to Congressman Bridenstine’s office, you may ask to be added to the wait list.  Please send an email to karen.schmitt@mail.house.gov including the following information:

(1)   Your name as it appears on the photo ID you would present to pick up and sign for tickets at our Washington, DC office if tickets become available (tickets cannot be mailed or replaced.)

(2)   Your full address (no post office boxes please.)

(3)   The number of tickets you would like to request, but not more than four.

(4)   Your preferred cell phone number for ticket availability notification.

You will be notified as soon as possible if inauguration tickets become available. Please be advised that nearly all tickets are for standing room, and most of the standing tickets are distant from the west front of the Capitol where the inauguration will take place.

Special Note: Please be aware that tickets are not required to attend the inaugural ceremony. Standing space will be available on the National Mall beyond the areas reserved for ticket holders. JumboTrons and speakers will be placed around the Mall to allow everyone to see and hear the inaugural ceremony.

Finally, keep in mind that it can be very cold in Washington during January, lodging during the time of the inauguration is at a premium, and it is likely to be very difficult to move about the city because of large crowds, road closures and high demand for public transportation. Long waits in line are to be expected because of extraordinary security measures.

Tickets will only be available for pick-up at Congressman Bridenstine's Washington DC office (216 Cannon House of Office Building) on January 17th - 19th from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Congressman Bridenstine's office will not be open on January 20th.
