Rep. Rohrabacher Announces 2016 United States Service Academy Night

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R- Huntington Beach, announced a district-wide Service Academy orientation event for high school juniors and seniors. Scheduled for 6:30 p.m., June 3,  the event will be held at the Costa Mesa Neighborhood Community Center’s Adams Room, 1845 Park Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

The United States Service Academies include the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London. All Service Academies with the exception of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy require a Congressional Nomination to be considered for appointment. The United States Service Academies accept highly qualified and well-rounded individuals for appointment. Those individuals receive a tuition-free, peerless education and may commission as an officer in the Military upon graduation.
