Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
There are a number of challenges currently facing our country - first and foremost the need for job creation
and growth so more people can return to work. From my many local stops and meetings throughout the
15th District, it is clear that, while our economy is slowly making progress toward recovery, there is still
much work to be done in this area. That is why I am hosting the Job Fair.

Special Resources for Veterans
- Hero 2 Hired will be leading a veterans-focused workshop (see schedule) to teach resume
building, interviewing skills and leveraging veterans benefits towards employment.
- The Franklin County Recorder's Office will be issuing ID cards for anyone that brings
their original DD-214 (a copy of a DD-214 cannot be accepted).
- Department of Veterans Affairs staff will be available to assist with VA benefits
and questions.
- The Military Veterans Resource Center will be on hand to meet with veterans.
They provide continuous help and support to veterans throughout their job search.
