Flag Requests

Flag Orders:

Congressman Aderholt's office is proud to provide constituents of the Fourth Congressional District who request it with a flag flown over the United States Capitol. Each flag costs the purchase price of the flag and a service charge assessed by the Architect of the Capitol on all flags flown. A certificate of authenticity will be included with the flag. 

Flags from past dates are not available, however, a specific date for the flag to be flown can be requested. We advise that it be done at least 3 weeks in advance.

To request flags, complete (form is fillable), print, and mail the following Flag Request Form with your check or money order to my Cullman District Office.

Care of the Flag:

Most outdoor flags can be washed in mild detergent and thoroughly rinsed. Indoor and parade flags should be dry-cleaned. Damaged flags can be repaired and used as long as the overall dimensions are not noticeably altered. American Legion Posts and local governments often have facilities to dispose of unserviceable flags. Store your flag in a clean, well ventilated area.
