Workers need a say in their work schedules so that they can plan their lives. But far too many workers face unpredictable, unstable and rigid scheduling practices that make it difficult to arrange child care or elder care, hold down a second job, go to school, or even address their own health care needs. Scheduling practices like getting scheduled only a day or two in advance, being sent home early just because work is slow, or having no control over when you are scheduled to work can wreak havoc on working families. The Committee Democrats want to hear from you about the scheduling practices in your job and how they affect your life.
