Come spend your summer, fall, or spring with us here on Capitol Hill! Our internship program is offered three times a year and is open to all college students and recent graduates. Designed to work in partnership with college and university programs nationwide, our interns are given the opportunity to work either full or part-time, and the hours can be catered to class schedules. On average, our full-time interns work Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, leaving plenty of time for interns to experience all that D.C. has to offer.
No matter what your dream job may be, our Washington, D.C. based internship program is all about developing on-the-job skills that will transfer to any profession. A usual day in the office will include answering phones, running errands, researching legislation for Rep. Loudermilk and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various policy issues. However, our office will cater the program to fit your needs! If you have a special interest, we will work to help you gain insight into that policy area and strive to make your time with us memorable. You will not only learn the ins and outs of Capitol Hill, but you will walk away with a better understanding of the legislative process, the inner-workings of a congressional office, and even gain some insight into a new way of thinking about your everyday life.

District
In the District office, interns may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance.
