Student Internships

Congressman Moulton offers internships throughout the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters in both his Washington, D.C. and Salem offices. Internships are intended for current undergraduate students, recent college graduates, and students currently enrolled in graduate school. They are a great opportunity for interested students to gain hands-on experience in the legislative process. To apply, please fill out the form below and attach a cover letter and resume. A staff member will be in touch within a few weeks. Feel free to call our office with any questions you may have.

Included below are quotes from a few of our past interns about their experience in our office.

My internship was both successful and challenging in that everyday I had the opportunity to learn something new, help constituents in need, and contribute to the success of Team Moulton.” -Will S., Spring 2016

The people who work here are excellent and really do want to help the community and make everyone feel included. Therefore, I feel that the people I have worked with have really made the internship for me.” – Tayla B., Spring 2016

Communication has been really one of the highlights of this internship. The open office setting allows you to interact regularly with caseworkers and other higher ups in the office. I feel like I have learned a lot about government simply from watching my coworkers.” – Eduardo C., Spring 2016

We have finalized our intern class for Spring 2017. We are now accepting applications for our Summer 2017 Internship Session. The deadline for the Summer 2017 Internship Application is March 31, 2017.
