House Adopts Curbelo Co-Sponsored Resolution Condemning Obama's Anti-Israel Action at the U.N.

Today the U.S. House of Representatives adopted a resolution co-sponsored by Representative Carlos Curbelo (FL-26) condemning the Obama Administration and the United Nation's anti-Israel action last month.

"I was proud to join the majority of my colleagues today to take a stand against the Obama Administration's unprecedented and shameful abandonment of Israel, our only democratic ally in the Middle East," Curbelo said. "The Administration's action was unacceptable and further sets back prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace. The bipartisan resolution my colleagues and I adopted today condemns the Obama Administration's actions, expresses the House's support for our ally Israel, and sends a clear message to the world that the overwhelming majority of American legislators stand with her."

H.Res. 11, a resolution Objecting to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 as an obstacle to Israeli-Palestinian peace, was co-sponsored by Curbelo and introduced by Representative Ed Royce (R-CA). It was adopted by the House of Representatives today 342-80.
