Transportation and Infrastructure Committee

The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee has jurisdiction over all modes of transportation: aviation, maritime and waterborne transportation, highways, bridges, mass transit, and railroads.The Committee’s broad oversight portfolio includes many federal agencies, including the Department of Transportation, the U.S. Coast Guard, Amtrak, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the General Services Administration, the Army Corps of Engineers, and others. Congressman Curbelo serves as a Vice Chair of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee. In addition, he serves on the Aviation and Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Subcommittees. 

Education and the Workforce Committee

The House Education and the Workforce Committee oversees programs that affect all Americans, from early learning and higher education to job training and retirement security. The Committee and its five subcommittees oversee education and workforce programs that affect all Americans, from early learning through secondary educations, from job training through retirement. Congressman Curbelo represents Florida's 26th District on the Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education, and Higher Education and Workforce Training Subcommittees. 

Small Business Committee

The Small Business Committee was established to protect and assist small businesses.  As such, the Committee has jurisdiction over matters related to small business financial aid, regulatory flexibility, and paperwork reduction. Additionally, the House Small Business Committee has oversight and legislative authority over the Small Business Administration (SBA) and its programs. Congressman Curbelo serves as a Chairman of the Agriculture, Energy and Trade Subcommittee.
