Do you support measures to secure the southern border including the construction of a wall?

This week I cosponsored H.R. 4034, the Secure Fence Restoration Act of 2015, which would require the entire southwest border fence to be completed by no later than December 31, 2017. This bill also prohibits the Secretaries of Interior and Agriculture from restricting the activities of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Federal land and authorizes CBP to conduct search and rescue operations and restrict unlawful entries into the United States.

In 2012, the Department of Homeland Security estimated there were over 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States, compared to under 1 million between 1980-1984.
