Passport Applications
Important Note:
The Department of State is encouraging travelers to submit passport applications well ahead of their planned travel dates in order to avoid delays in receiving their travel documents. In 2007, the U.S. Department of State experienced an unprecedented surge in passport applications, issuing over 18 million passports as a result of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). Nearly ten years later, those passports are set to expire, and there is an increased demand for passport renewals. 49 million passports are set to expire over the next three years, and the increased demand for renewals is expected to continue through 2018.
We may be able to help you expedite your passport application in an emergency, report lost passports, and monitor overseas travel restrictions.
