Internships

The Committee on the Judiciary’s Democratic staff internship program offers undergraduate and law students, as well as recent graduates, an opportunity to experience the operation of a congressional committee firsthand and learn about the important role that House committees play in the legislative process.  The Judiciary Committee has jurisdiction over a wide range of legislative and oversight issues which include constitutional amendments, litigation reform, patent and trademark law, federal criminal law, federal civil rights law, homeland security, immigration and naturalization, and antitrust.

Deadline for applications for the fall session:  June 1st

Deadline for applications for the spring session:  October 1st

Deadline for applications for the summer session: February 15th
