Education

My father went to school on the GI bill. I was able to attend college because my parents scrimped and saved, and had a partner in the government. Our nation has a long tradition of investing in the education of our children and young people because that investment is crucial to our country’s economy.

In the last decade, college tuition has skyrocketed at universities and colleges across the country. This places an even greater burden on middle class families. Families are no longer sure that sending their children to college is worth the investment. That’s not good.

I am committed to ensuring that  a good education is available to  any person who wants one.

I will fight to make college more affordable for middle class families so that all students will have the opportunity to continue their education, and learn the skills necessary to get a good-paying job.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.
