WASHINGTON - Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) today voted for HR 4369, which authorizes the financing of the transfer of ownership of the Ontario Airport from the city of Los Angeles to a new Airport Authority made up of the City of Ontario and San Bernardino County. Rep. Cook joined with a bipartisan coalition of Inland Empire legislators in co-sponsoring this legislation. It passed the house with overwhelming support.

WASHINGTON- Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) is pleased to announce that the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is evaluating the feasibility of instituting the Veterans Express Transit System (VETS) in the Victor Valley. Cook submitted a request last month to VA Loma Linda Medical Center Director Barbara Fallen requesting expansion of the program to the High Desert in order to assist veterans with transportation for medical appointments at VA Loma Linda.

This bipartisan bill provides an administrative means for the federal government to confirm rights-of-way on public lands administered by the Departments of Interior and Agriculture. WASHINGTON • Paul Cook scored another victory Friday in his quest to save a popular off-roading area from a military takeover.
Cook, R-Yucca Valley, announced in a news release that his plan to create the Johnson Valley National Off-Highway Vehicle Area passed the U.S. House of Representatives as part of the National Defense Authorization Act.
The NDAA passed the House by a vote of 315-107 and will now move to the Senate. If passed by the Senate, the bill will reach the president’s desk for approval.
