The 2017 Presidential Inauguration

The 58th Presidential Inauguration will be held January 20, 2017, in Washington, D.C. The ceremony will take place on the west front of the United States Capitol and will be followed by the new president's inaugural address. Both the swearing-in and inaugural address are ticketed events.

Please be advised, our office is not provided access to any ticketed events outside of the Swearing-In Ceremony.

Security Information

Please be advised, the Capitol Building as well as the Capitol Complex and various streets will not be open to the public the week of January 20, 2017. Additionally, the House Office Buildings will be closed on January 20th to the public.
All federal buildings, including, but not limited to, the White House, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Treasury Department, State Department, and Pentagon, will not be open to the public the week of January 20, 2017.
