Veterans History Project

As you may know, the Veterans History Project is a very worthwhile program spearheaded by the Library of Congress that seeks to preserve and make accessible the personal accounts of war veterans.

The Veterans History Project is collecting the largest database of firsthand accounts from World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War and Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans, as well as U.S. civilians who were actively involved in war efforts. In addition, the project consists of documentary materials such as letters, diaries and photographs.
