Second Amendment

Our Founding Fathers regarded our right to bear arms essential to our country’s being; therefore, upon our founding they made sure this was clearly outlined and protected in our country’s Bill of Rights. Our right to bear arms was important to our founding fathers because they established a country “of the people, by the people and for the people.”  This right guarantees that we will remain such a country and capable of defending ourselves against threats. Further, this has long been a nation of avid sportsmen and I too enjoy hunting as a pastime. Rest assured, I will defend our rights granted by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.
