WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) welcomed Sanjana Rao to the United States Capitol recently for the annual Congressional Art Competition showcase.  Rao, 17, was selected as the winner of the Seventh Congressional District contest for her piece, Thoughts of Coffee on You.  She earned the chance to visit Washington, D.C. and see her work on display in the Capitol alongside the winning selections from across the country.

WESTFIELD, N.J. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) hosted a student leadership conference on Saturday at Governor Livingston High School for over 100 high schools student interested in government and politics.  The event included a hands-on activity to balance the federal budget and a keynote address from Mike DuHaime, a Westfield resident, political strategist and currently a partner at the public affairs firm Mercury LLC.  Lance also spoke and took questions on current events and issues facing the Nation.

WESTFIELD, N.J. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) on Monday presented Mr. Michael Ulaky and his wife Regina with the service medals he earned in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Mr. Ulaky never received the honors from the United States military and after assistance from Lance’s constituent casework managers, the Army supplied the awards in time for a special presentation in Westfield.

FLEMINGTON, N.J. – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced he will hold his annual “Service Academy Information Fair” for Seventh Congressional District high school students on Saturday, May 21 at Raritan Valley Community College.  Lance’s annual event allows students to meet with academy officials to learn more about the admissions process and how to pursue their interests in serving the Nation.
