2017 PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION
Thank you for entering Congressman Lance’s lottery for tickets to the Presidential Inauguration of Donald J. Trump on January 20, 2017. The lottery is now CLOSED.
Please see the information below regarding procedures for the inauguration. If you no longer wish to be in the lottery please reply to this e-mail and I am happy to take you off the list.
All winners will be notified starting January 4th if selected. Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, only 1 request per household will be entered and each winner will receive 2 standing room tickets on the National Mall. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this rule. Please note that this is an outdoor event that will take place rain (or snowstorm) or shine. Attached is a map of where the tickets are located. All winners must pick up their tickets in person in the Congressman’s DC office during normal business hours (9am-5pm) on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
If you are not selected as a lottery winner, you can still view the ceremony from the “non-ticketed mall standing area” as seen in the map.
We would like to invite everyone from NJ-07 to the Congressman’s office after the ceremony to meet with Congressman Lance, his staff and enjoy light refreshments with neighbors also attending the event.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) has responsibility for official Inaugural events other than those held at the Capitol, including the inaugural parade and any official inaugural balls and galas. Please note that we do not receive tickets to the Inaugural Ball, and while you can technically request tickets through the PIC, I believe they are difficult to obtain. There will also be a limited number of bleacher seats for the Inaugural Parade which you can request through the PIC, although viewing from the sidewalk will be free and unreserved.
