Boating

The Congressional Boating Caucus is an informal, bipartisan group of U.S. Senators and Representatives formed in 1989 to advocate the interests of the recreational boating industry. The Caucus seeks to improve the industry’s economic conditions, protect the environment, address boating safety and create international trade opportunities.

 

Chesapeake Bay Caucus

The caucus focuses on issues related to the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay, including water quality, conservation, resource management, recreation and economic development, as well as educating other members of Congress.

 

Chicken

The Congressional Chicken Caucus was formed to educate other Members of Congress about the history, contributions and concerns of the U.S. chicken industry, which emanate from a wide range of issues pertaining to food safety, trade, labor, immigration and the environment.  The Chicken Caucus provides a platform for discussing the role of government in addressing current and future industry challenges.

 

Coal

The Congressional Coal Caucus is made up of House members that recognize the importance of achieving a more energy-independent nation while also focusing on coal as a natural resource.

 

General Aviation

The General Aviation Caucus was created to inform Members and staff about the importance of general aviation to the nation’s economy and transportation system.

 

Hungarian-American

This bipartisan group of distinguished House members seeks to represent interests of Hungarian American constituents; foster bilateral relations between Hungary and United States; and protect the rights of Hungarian minorities in Europe.

Immigration Reform

The Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus is a group of House members that are dedicated towards advancing effective immigration policy that secures America’s borders and reforms an outdated U.S. immigration system.

 

Marcellus Shale

The purpose of the caucus is to educate members on the pros and cons of natural gas development in the regions of the United States containing the Marcellus Shale formation.  Members will be educated and discuss policy from an objective and scientific standpoint.

 

Natural Gas

The Congressional Natural Gas Caucus is a bipartisan group of Members dedicated to championing the use of clean, plentiful, domestic natural gas. The caucus is committed to informing and educating Members of Congress, and the American people about this clean-burning domestic fuel. By promoting the use of natural gas we believe America will benefit from cleaner modes of transportation and energy generation, creating a cleaner environment and millions of new American jobs. We are focused on discovering environmentally-friendly ways to produce natural gas and explore the ways natural gas can help meet our country’s energy needs while leading us towards an independent energy future.

 

Northeast Agriculture

The Congressional Northeast Agriculture Caucus recognizes the importance of the nation’s agricultural industry is focused on strengthening the industry in the Northeast region of the United States.  The caucus allows for an open forum that discusses important topics related to the agricultural industry.

Port Caucus

The Congressional Port Caucus’ mission is to promote the importance of our ports to the nation’s economy and the need to secure them by promoting dialogue and coordination between Congress, the Administration and relevant federal agencies, as well as important industry officials.

Republican Israel Caucus

The Republican Israel Caucus educates House members on current events, administration policies and regional issues related to Israel.  The group also co-hosts events on Middle East issues with policy experts, academics and members of the Jewish community.
