Social Security and Medicare

Social Security and Medicare provide critical benefits to more than 50 million Americans, and I firmly believe these benefits must be protected for current and future recipients. I have serious concerns, however, with any proposal affects current beneficiaries or raise taxes. Instead, I believe Congress must make sure every dollar taken out of someone's paycheck for Social Security is used only for Social Security and not used to fund bloated government bureaucracy. |
