Whether you need help with a federal agency, are trying to learn more about federal grants or are considering applying to a service academy, the information below should help you begin your search. Help With A Federal Agency:
An important part of my role as your representative is to help you navigate the complex federal agency system. Our office may be able to assist if you are having trouble working with the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the IRS or any other federal agency.

Help with Federal Grants:
The federal grants process can be confusing to navigate but my staff and I are here to help.

Business Opportunities:
The federal government offers many loan and technical assistance programs, including special programs for women, minorities and veterans. My goal is to help connect entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow their businesses.     

Veterans' Resources:
I am a strong advocate for our veterans, servicemembers and their families, and work diligently to assist in any way I can. If you need assistance, my staff is able to help.

Service Academy Nominations:
Are you interested in an appointment to one of America’s outstanding military service academies? Each year, exceptional high school graduates from Ohio’s First Congressional District receive appointments to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland; the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado; and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. Congressional Art Competition:
The Congressional Art Competion, "An Artistic Discovery," aims to showcase the artistic talents of high schools students in Ohio's First Congressional District. The competition is open to students in grades 9-12 who are residents of the First District.

Washington, D.C. Tour Requests:
Visiting Washington, D.C. is a memorable and enjoyable experience, and my staff is happy to help while you are here. My office can arrange tours to many of the popular attractions in our Nation’s Capital, including the White House.

Flag Requests:
Ohio First Congressional District constituents may request United States flags through my office, and can even have the flag flown over the U.S. Capitol Building.

Presidential Greetings:
Are you celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary, your 80th birthday or another special occasion, and would like to receive a note of congratulations from the President of the United States? My office will be happy to help.
