Townhall - House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz is spending his Thanksgiving overseas with U.S. troops.

"A profound honor to thank our service men and women for their patriotic efforts and sacrifices. I told them they make America proud and we are a grateful nation," Chaffetz posted on his Instagram page.

As we sit down at our tables with family and friends today, it's important to remember those fighting to keep us safe aren't home and deserve our gratitude.
